Oct 29, 2005·I like PL Premium myself. But I've had good luck with DAP's subfloor adhesive as well as LumberLock. The only product I really try to stay away from is Liquid Nails but most of the yards don't stock it around here anyway, at least not as subfloor adhesive.

May 24, 2011·From the supplier of the Kahrs flooring strips, I ordered T-molding designed for the 15 mm thick flooring. I received T-molding that has an acceptable width and staining but the base of the T-molding (the vertical part of the "T") is only 12.5 mm tall. It won't reach to the sub-floor.

Oct 30, 2006·The brand name of the wood is Advantech. They specified six inch spacing on the edges and twelve inch spacing otherwise using 8d nails. Like I said, I'm going back and put screws in. The nails didn't hold the warped boards down. I thought seriously about using 10d nails but decided I didn't want to risk splitting the floor joists.

Jul 09, 2005·I'm working through something very similar now and am debating the need of the 1/8" spacing for the second layer of 1/2" plywood im putting on. Right now, i'm looking at Subfloor Liquid Nails and screwing into both Joists and Subfloor and then a 5/8" bamboo finish (with underlayment of course) - each sheet of ply is tight to the next.
